This term refers to a technology that is relatively new, starting in the early 21st century (around 2005).  It refers to a technique that is used in the printing industry and means an order is not actually printed until it is ordered.

Wallhogs was one of the first to utilize this technology in the wide-format digital print industry and is what allows us to offer such low prices, due to the fact we do not need to carry a large inventory.  It also assures you, our customer, you will receive a brand new product and not some dusty, faded print that has been stored in a warehouse for months or years.

The wide format digital print industry utilizes four types of finishes for poster papers; matte, semi-gloss- gloss, and super gloss.

Wallhogs only offers professional-grade 10-mil thick (normal posters are 4-mil) gloss poster paper. This finish provides just enough of a glossy finish to provide for extremely vibrant colors and richness as compared to matte and semi-gloss where colors are more muted while reducing reflection from light, unlike super gloss which can have hot spots where the light is reflecting, causing it to be very hard to look at.

Cost is a reflection of both the size of the decal you order, as well as the distance the package must travel.

Free Domestic Shipping: On all orders over $99.  This method could take 3-10 days depending upon your distance from our facility in Pennsylvania.

Economy Domestic Shipping: 5-8 days with costs of $3.99.  This option is only available for packages weighing under 1 lb.

Standard Domestic Shipping: 3-5 days with costs starting at $8.95 and up.

Guaranteed 3-Day Domestic Shipping: 3 days guaranteed with costs starting at $13.95 and up. 

Guaranteed 2-Day Domestic Shipping: 2 days guaranteed with costs starting at $24.95 and up.

Guaranteed Overnight Domestic Shipping: 1 day guaranteed with costs starting at $49.95 and up.

International Shipping: Normally 6-12 days with costs starting at $35.95 and up.

All Wallhogs poster orders are shipped with enough 3M Command Poster Stripes for hanging, or your poster may be framed prior to hanging.

You may also hang using traditional methods such as tape or push pins, however, we advise against this. Why placed holes or possibly tear when attempting to remove the tape on a brand new poster?
